Hi, my name is Marc Vernackt and I graduated as an electronics engineer with a specialization in process automation. Among other things, I also got a degree in auto mechanics. So over more than 25 years of experience and passion in electronics and auto mechanics, old and modern engines have nearly no secrets anymore for me.

Always owned several BMW motorcycles and with my background, it is evident that I know these bikes inside and out.

Obviously, the first ACCELERATOR Modules™ that were developed and tested were concentrated around the BWM bikes.

So it all started when I wanted to improve the (bad) behavior of one of my own bike, a BMW R1150R Rockster. The first version of the ACCELERATOR Module™ was born! Shortly after talking to different people, which tested the module on different other bikes extensively, different types of modules were designed based on calculation models and field testing.

More and more people started to know the existence of the ACCELERATOR Module™. At one point in time, it was the most active topic on the UKGSer forum.

It became, and is still today, a much in demand product with over 25 thousand units sold for many motorcycles brands and models and is being recognized as todays global reference in easy fuel injection tuning method.

Finally, I had to found Solid Solutions more than 10 years ago due to the huge success of selling the ACCELERATOR Module™. In the meantime, other products were added that could serve my customers. For example I developed the DRL daylight module for the R1200GS (air-cooled) version. New projects will be launched in the future.

One of the my main philosophy is that these quality products should be available at fair prices and not like others who ask 3 times the money for a copied product. Also being able to go back to the original motorcycle configuration is another important design criterion.

In my professional life, I have worked (and still work) mainly as a project manager. I have also developed in the past some specialized machines (involving electronics, mechanics and optics) where I obtained a dozen patents.

So for me Solid Solutions is a side activity based on my hobby love for motor technology.
